CONSIGNING…..LET’S GET STARTED!
Consigning is a great way to make money from household items
that no longer have a place in your home. Some examples of upscale furnishings we accept are:
sofas, tables, chairs, beds, desks, bookcases, china cabinets, lamps, rugs, framed pictures, decorative items, etc.
Consignments are accepted Wednesday thru Friday
from 10:00am to 4:00pm appoints are preferred. Will accept items on Saturdays on a limited basis
- call for details.
Prior to moving larger items, you may want to bring in or email a photo to us. Any information on the
item such as age or original price will help us to evaluate it for resell. We strive for the best prices for your items, but
pricing will be at the discretion of Hobo’s.
Cleanliness of your items is a MUST! Please prepare your items by dusting,
polishing, laundering or spot cleaning. The price you receive/acceptability depends on their condition.
Please check your items for damage, stains, scratches, etc. prior to bringing them into the store.
We rely on customer demands and space considerations when accepting merchandise. We select what we think the customers will want to buy.
Please understand that our customers’ preferences must be our guidelines, and do not take offense if we decline
some of your items.
Consignor will receive 50% of the selling
price for each item sold up to $500 and 60% of the selling price for those sold over $500. Items
not sold in the first 30 days will be discounted according to the stated terms (see Consignor Agreement). Any
unsold consignments left over 100 days will be disposed of at Hobo's discretion.
Payouts
are made by Hobo’s at the end of each month only. Checks will be issued for $25 or more; cash payouts
will be made for less than $25.
Note: Hobo’s
is not liable for lost or damaged items.
